My story

“Up together make the touches!”Yelled our coach. We were in the second half of our final game of 2016.Hearts were pounding, legs struggling and communication dying.

My touch team and I felt like giving, but out of the blue I hear a little voice.”Hunter, this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity,so go out there and prove that we can win this!”
At first I thought it was someone in the crowd, but then I realized I haven’t heard that voice before so I knew if I didn’t go out there I’d suffer the consequences.

They started scoring more tries and we weren’t proud by it,and it almost became a draw.Try after try ,penalty after penalty, and just our luck we were in the lead by a couple points. It was down to the final minutes, and the subbers and obviously players were praying for the final buzzer
“EEEEERRRRR” The buzzer goes off and the celebration begins.

In the end we came home with a gold and mum owed me $30 and had to shout me Maccas. What a day.
